 University of Louisville® opened in the fall of 1813, and was closed in 1829. The university was revived in 1907, adding and expanding academic programs. Since 2000, Louisville™ is the only NCAA team to win a BCS bowl game, men's and women's basketball Final Fours, the College World Series, and finished as runner-up in the Men's soccer College cup in the same school year. |
